Tom Rennie - Senior Tax Manager

Tom joined Cornwell Jackson in 2007. As senior tax manager, he is responsible for supervises the operations of the tax services department, oversees multiple large accounts while providing excellent customer service and serves as the head of the firm’s real estate group.

In addition to preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns, Tom provides clients with tax planning, transaction consulting and state and local tax services and also trains and develops team members. He works with companies in a variety of industries, including real estate, healthcare, childcare and construction.

Prior to joining Cornwell Jackson, Tom worked as a tax manager Shost & Company in the Dallas area, where he provided tax services and managed staff members.

In 2001 Tom graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. While in college, he worked as a tax intern with a regional CPA firm in Ohio and for a local firm in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Tom grew up in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in McKinney with his wife, son, daughter and two dogs. He and his wife are members of St. Gabriel’s in McKinney, Texas. When he is away from the office, Tom enjoys golfing, playing softball and traveling around the country.
